Empowering Sexual Reproductive Health Rights in West Nile

JP Management is implementing the economic empowerment component of the PROTECT SRHR Project in Maracha, Yumbe, Koboko, and Terego districts. Funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN), this initiative aligns with the Netherlands global health strategy and Uganda’s sustainable development goals, focusing on enhancing access to sexual reproductive health services.

Led by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), JP Management Foundation executes the financial education and skilling program at community levels, directly aimed at the creation of economic opportunities that can bridge the nexus between poverty and SRHR rights violations. Our integral modules combine savings (VSILA) groups and Skills development training to increase young women’s negotiation capacities and employability in the wage market. With the financial empowerment, we are confident that young women can resist early marriages and sexual exploitation and can make financial decisions.

We are committed to creating a lasting impact as well as empowering communities in West Nile and are grateful for EKN’s partnership and support.
